Electrician

As an Electrician in our company, your role will involve performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment. You will diagnose electrical malfunctions and recommend and implement corrective solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics will be essential to ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety standards. Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced will also be part of your duties. In case of emergency breakdowns, your quick and effective resolutions will be crucial. Collaboration with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot complex issues and providing input into system upgrades and improvements for efficiency and safety will be expected. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment. - Diagnose electrical malfunctions and recommend and implement corrective solutions. - Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. - Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety standards. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced. - Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick, effective resolutions. - Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot complex issues. - Keep tools and equipment in good working order and report any faults or required replacements. - Provide input into system upgrades and improvements for efficiency and safety. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as an Electrician or Maintenance Technician (typically 3-5 years). - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes (e.g., NEC or local equivalents). - Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and heights when required. - Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment or parts. - Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Flexible with working hours and on-call responsibilities. Please note that the job type for this position is full-time and the work location is in person. In case you have a valid electrician's license or certification, it will be considered a plus. Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation is also preferred.,
