Job Summary: An Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing plant. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical components to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and machinery. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production equipment. Install, maintain, and upgrade wiring, circuits, and control panels. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Operate electrical testing equipment to measure voltage, current, and resistance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production personnel. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with new technologies. Qualifications & Requirements: ITI Certification in Electrical or a related field. Minimum educational qualification: 12th pass. Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. Familiarity with safety protocols and legal regulations. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience in industrial automation and PLC systems. Knowledge of motor control systems and power distribution. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Salary & Career Growth: Salary varies based on experience and location, typically ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹20,000 per month.
