Electrical Technician

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical panel manufacturing, wiring, testing, and on-site installation and commissioning activities. This role requires hands-on experience in electrical works and a strong understanding of electrical systems and drawings.

• Execute electrical panel manufacturing activities including wiring, assembly, and testing.
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, and control circuit drawings.
• Carry out site electrical installations cable laying, termination, and commissioning of electrical panels and equipment.
• Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to safety and company standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults during manufacturing or site execution.
• Maintain proper documentation of work done at factory and site. Support project engineers in material planning and site supervision.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing and/or site execution.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical control and power circuits. Familiarity with switchgear components (MCBs, MCCBs, relays, contactors, etc.)
• Understanding of wiring diagrams, testing instruments, and electrical safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in LT panels, distribution boards, and industrial wiring.
• Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
