Job Description

Sr Electrical Technician- 6-8 Years Experience in O&M specially Electrical HT, LT, DG, Transformar, HT/ LT breaker operations, Motors, Starter, HVAC electrical maintenance. Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical equipment, panels, switchgear and components. Identifies parts for replacement and electrical systems that need new parts and places orders as necessary. Requires a high school, ITI Electrician or diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship, government licensed certification and/or formal training in area of electrical HT/ LT operations specialty. May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
