Job Location : MIDC, Vile Bhagad, Mangaon, Raigad. Job Summary: The Maintenance Electrical Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the electrical and automation systems across the entire plant. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all electrical infrastructure, automation systems, and equipment. The manager will lead a team of electrical and automation engineers and technicians to ensure optimal plant operations, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical Maintenance & Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, motors, control panels, transformers, and switchgear. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical and automation systems. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, OSHA). Supervise the maintenance of power distribution networks, generators, UPS, and other electrical assets. 2. Automation & Control Systems: Manage and maintain PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and other automation systems for process control. Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Collaborate with production and process teams to implement automation improvements. Ensure cybersecurity and data integrity in plant automation systems. 3. Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and mentor a team of electrical and automation engineers/technicians. Assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and provide technical training. Coordinate with other departments (production, quality, safety) to align maintenance activities with operational goals. 4. Project Management & Upgrades: Plan and execute electrical and automation system upgrades, expansions, and modifications. Work with vendors and contractors to procure and install new equipment. Ensure project completion within budget, timelines, and compliance requirements. 5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all local and international electrical codes and safety standards. Implement and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for electrical and automation systems. 6. Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage the electrical and automation maintenance budget. Optimize maintenance costs while ensuring reliability and efficiency. Identify opportunities for energy savings and cost reduction.
