Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for data center projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, data center infrastructure, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. Design and Development: Design electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and backup power systems. Develop detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software. Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements. Project Management: Lead electrical design projects from initial concept through to final completion. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers. Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Technical Expertise: Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and constraints. Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies. Specify and select electrical equipment and components. Experience Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master s preferred). 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on data center projects. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP). Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Experience with power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
