Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Highway Lighting & Solar Projects Location: Bhadhoi Uttar Pradesh Experience: [2,3years] Industry: Infrastructure / Power / Renewable Energy Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and execute the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of street lighting and solar power systems along national highways. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with street pole lights, high mast lighting systems, and solar plant projects, including grid connection and net metering processes. Key Responsibilities: Street Lighting Installation & Commissioning: Plan, supervise, and execute the installation of street pole lights and high mast lighting systems along national highways. Ensure correct positioning, foundation works, and erection of poles in accordance with electrical safety and design standards. Coordinate cable laying, termination, panel wiring, and circuit testing. Solar Plant Project Execution: Oversee the installation and commissioning of on-grid solar power plants for highway lighting. Handle interconnection of solar systems with the main power line and integration of net metering systems. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with MNRE and DISCOM guidelines. Project Coordination: Liaise with civil teams, subcontractors, government agencies, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution. Prepare technical documentation including load calculations, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and site execution plans. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and resolve on-site issues. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and relevant codes (e.g., IS, IEC). Maintain documentation for inspections, test reports, and approvals. Enforce safety procedures for personnel and equipment during installation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). Minimum [2] years of experience in highway lighting and solar project execution. Knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems, solar PV systems, net metering regulations, and lighting design. Proficient in using AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. Strong understanding of electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and protection systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Willing to travel and stay at project sites as required.
