Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee, maintain, and improve all electrical systems, automation, and instrumentation within our dairy processing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations, supporting continuous production and quality standards in a fast paced dairy environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation for dairy processing equipment (pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, filling packaging lines, CIP systems). Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance activities for all electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, food safety requirements, and plant quality systems. Support the automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI) for processing and packaging lines. Lead continuous improvement projects for energy optimization and system reliability. Collaborate with the production and quality teams for smooth and efficient plant operation. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical electrical components. Train and guide junior technicians and operators on basic troubleshooting and safe handling of electrical equipment. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or project management in food processing, dairy, or FMCG manufacturing. Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial automation. Familiarity with dairy processing equipment and utility systems (boilers, refrigeration, compressors) is an advantage. Strong problem solving and project management skills. Knowledge of electrical safety standards, food safety standards, and preventive maintenance planning.
