Job Description

Role & responsibilities A. Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Of: 11KV sub-station, H.T. switchgears, Transformers, Lightning arresters, Earthing and other Safety equipments. Electrical part of Turbo Generating sets including synchronization with Grid / DG sets. Sizing of DG Sets, Transformers. Power control center, Motor control center consisting of VFD’s, Soft starters and other assisted Starting switch gears. Review of documents received from Vendor’s, consultants. Cables both HT and LT including termination and jointing. H.T. and L.T. Motors selection based on characteristics of driven equipment’s. Knowledge of Interlocks, PLC, DCS and Associated process, Instrumentation and Automation. Lighting Installations and associated Distribution boards. Earthing, Lightning systems. B. Knowledge Of: Indian Electricity Act, Rules and other statutory requirements connected with Electricity. Standards and Specifications. Project Planning, Scheduling, Execution and other activities. Laws of Contracts, Labour law, Procurement procedures. Preparation of Estimation, Budgeting and Cost controlling techniques. Heading team of Supervisors, Technicians and coordinating with other agencies. All safety measures connected with Electrical and Fire requirements and handling of Equipment’s.
