Job Description

Electrical Engineer

lead the design, planning, and coordination of electrical systems for water supply, wastewater, and large-scale township infrastructure projects. He should have strong technical expertise in HT/LT distribution, pumping stations, treatment plants, and utility networks, with proven experience delivering multidisciplinary master planning projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for water/wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and utility infrastructure.
Prepare SLDs, load calculations, equipment sizing, lighting, and control system designs.
Develop power supply strategies for new townships, including HT/LT networks, substations, street lighting, and utility corridors.
Conduct feasibility studies, concept designs, preliminary designs, and detailed designs for infrastructure projects
Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, BOQs, tender documents, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with internal design teams and external utility authorities to obtain required approvals.
Review contractor design & drawings, vendor submissions, and ensure compliance with project standards.
Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
Integrate energy-efficient solutions, automation (SCADA/PLC), and sustainability principles into designs.
Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and adherence to contract specifications.

Qualifications

B.Tech/ B.E. in Electrical Engineering
1015+ years of experience in water supply, wastewater, pumping stations and infrastructure utilities Projects.
Strong understanding of IEC/NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards and local authority requirements.
Previous experience in township development or large-scale master planning projects preferred.
