The job duties of an EDM or electrical discharge machine operator include the setup and programming of EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality when making precision parts for tool-makers and designers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Wire Room, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This person will also be expected to provide guidance and support to other operators, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities. Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM machines to cut and shape various precision parts. Efficiently programming EDM wire cut machines to guarantee accurate and high-quality output. Independently executing defined work processes, from setup to machining. Conducting routine machine maintenance to ensure sustained functionality. Monitor machines during production runs to adjust machine controls and prevent errors. Requirements'. Proven experience as an EDM wire cut machine programmer and operator. Freshers with diploma or ITI. Strong organizational and time management skills. Commitment to safety practices and industry standards. Ability to work with Non Standard roles.
