Electrical Design Engineer - High Voltage (GIS-Primary Design)

As a Lead Primary Engineer specializing in HV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) products, your role involves a deep understanding of customer specifications, electrical drawings, and IEC standards. You will also be responsible for leading a small team, providing guidance, and training team members. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the primary design and engineering activities for high-voltage GIS switchgear. - Interpret and analyze customer specifications to ensure compliance with technical requirements. - Prepare and review electrical drawings and technical documentation. - Address technical queries related to GIS products and ensure adherence to IEC standards. - Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project execution. - Guide and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical expertise and support. - Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and company policies. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 3-8 years of experience in high-voltage switchgear or substation engineering. - Strong knowledge of GIS products and IEC standards. - Experience in handling technical queries and troubleshooting GIS equipment. - Background in the substation or switchgear industry is preferred.
