Department : Electrical Engineering Experience : 4-6 Years , GET Qualifications : B.E or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering Location : Chennai - Maraimalai Nagar Factory Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Electrical Designer Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Electrical engineering with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of electrical design, particularly within industrial environments such as Factory. The role involves designing and testing electrical systems, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting electrical system installations and commissioning. Key Responsibilities: ● Electrical Design: Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, wiring layouts, control panels, and lighting systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and industry standards. ● AutoCAD & SolidWorks Electrical: Create and modify electrical schematics and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical for accurate and high-quality designs. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Conduct FAT at the Maraimalai Nagar Factory , ensuring that electrical systems meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements before installation. ● System Documentation: Prepare and maintain all relevant technical documents including wiring diagrams, design specifications, and FAT reports. Ensure accurate documentation for future reference and compliance purposes. ● Quality Assurance & Testing: Verify that electrical designs adhere to the project requirements and quality standards. Perform quality checks on drawings, designs, and installations. ● Project Coordination: Work collaboratively with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, ensuring timelines and specifications are met. ● On-Site Support: Provide technical assistance during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in the Maraimalai Nagar Factory and at client sites. ● Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Analyze electrical system failures or performance issues, recommend solutions, and assist in their resolution to ensure optimal system performance. Skills & Knowledge: ○ Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical for designing and drafting electrical systems. ○ In-depth knowledge of electrical wiring, power distribution systems, and control systems. ○ Hands-on experience with FAT processes and system testing. ○ Understanding of electrical safety standards, regulatory codes, and industry best practices. ○ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. ○ Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. ○ Experience with electrical components, panels, and automation systems in industrial settings. Preferred Skills: ● Experience with industrial projects and manufacturing environments. ● Prior experience working for FAT will be an added advantage. ● Certification in electrical design.
