We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design and Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive quotes for our B2B lighting projects, ensuring a clear understanding of each projects specific requirements. This role involves working from ready-made solutions as well as developing custom designs to meet our clients' needs. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare detailed project quotes based on customer requirements and specifications, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy. - Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and provide tailored lighting solutions. - Create shop drawings for approval, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards. - Issue work orders to our manufacturing facility for production of lighting solutions, ensuring timely execution and quality control. - Prepare comprehensive technical handover documents, including design specifications, installation guidelines, and maintenance instructions, for clients. - Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and stakeholder satisfaction. - Stay updated on industry trends, lighting technologies, and design software to provide innovative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. - Proven experience in electrical design, estimation, and project management, preferably in the lighting or related industry. - Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, electrical codes, and standards. - Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and estimation tools. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
