Electrical Costing Expert (On contract - Hourly Engagement)

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Costing Expert to analyse and estimate electrical project costs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, procurement, and budgeting. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations, control panels, switchgear, wiring, and related components based on RFQ/BoQ documents Evaluate RFQ/BoQ documents for the missing information, technical errors, challenges related to project execution etc Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs for project budgeting. Participate in vendor negotiation as and when required Technical Project Analysis: Review electrical designs and drawings to assess material and labor costs. Knowledge/Methodology sharing: Share cost estimation knowledge/methodology with the internal team Assist in building/defining electrical cost estimation framework and items/equipments database Qualifications Skills: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 10-20 years of experience in electrical cost estimation, procurement, or project costing. Proficiency in cost estimation software Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Preferred: Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects . Knowledge of electrical contracting and tendering processes .
