Job Description We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman – Design to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fire protection system layouts, detailed drawings, and BOMs as per project specifications and relevant Indian standards (IS/NBC). Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D drawings of fire protection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, wet riser, hose reel, etc.) using AutoCAD. Read and interpret technical specifications, tender drawings, and site layouts. Coordinate with design engineers to translate concepts into accurate shop drawings. Generate coordinated service drawings considering architectural and structural constraints. Maintain drawing documentation and revision control. Extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings. Assist in as-built drawing preparation and handover documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience in the fire protection or MEP industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and basic knowledge of drawing standards. Familiarity with IS 13039, NBC 2016, and fire safety norms preferred. Experience in working with piping layouts and pump room drawings. Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with project teams. Knowledge of Revit (optional but preferred). What We Offer Competitive salary as per industry standards.
