Job Description

Role & responsibilities Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and national EHS laws, including the Factories Act , Pollution Control Board (PCB) requirements, and Environment Protection Act . Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory authorities (e.g.,monthly/quarterly returns to PCB and Safety Departments). Oversee the management of wastewater treatment, air emission controls, and solid waste disposal as per CPCB/APPCB norms. Monitor parameters like BOD , COD , TDS , and stack emissions, ensuring they are within permissible limits. Promote environmental sustainability projects such as waste minimization, water recycling, and energy conservation in the plant. Maintain documentation for ISO 14001: Environmental Management System (EMS). Plan and deliver EHS training modules for plant employees, supervisors, and contract workers. Foster a culture of safety through toolbox talks, safety committee meetings, and motivational campaigns (e.g., Zero Accident Month
