About The Opportunity

We operate in the education services sector, focusing on student recruitment, admissions consulting, and study‑abroad advisory services across global markets. Our on‑site teams work directly with prospective students to design academic pathways, navigate application workflows, and secure placements at international institutions.Primary title: Education Counselor | Location: India | Workplace: On‑siteRole & Responsibilities
  • Conduct one‑on‑one counseling sessions to assess student profiles, academic goals, and program fit; recommend suitable universities and courses.
  • Manage end‑to‑end application workflows including documentation collection, form submission, and follow‑ups with partner universities.
  • Provide detailed visa guidance and coordinate visa document preparation with students and legal partners to maximise approval rates.
  • Qualify inbound leads, convert prospects through consultative selling, and achieve monthly enrollment and revenue KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate student records and pipeline activity in the CRM; generate reports and insights to improve conversion metrics.
  • Liaise with partner institutions, test centers, and internal teams (marketing, operations) to deliver a seamless admissions experience.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have
  • Proven experience in student counseling, admissions, or education consulting (preferably in study‑abroad services).
  • Practical knowledge of international admissions processes and visa documentation requirements.
  • Experience managing complete application cycles and coordinating with universities/third‑party partners.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot) and strong record‑keeping practices.
  • Target‑driven with a demonstrated track record of lead conversion and meeting enrollment KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal and English communication skills for client-facing counseling and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred

  • Experience advising on standardized tests (IELTS/TOEFL) and scholarship/financial aid processes.
  • Familiarity with specific country admission nuances (e.g., UK, Canada, Australia, USA).
  • Prior exposure to student‑management workflows in a high‑volume admissions environment.
