Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in on-board electronic systems design in a cutting-edge field. You ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in delivering systems that meet customer expectations and align with project schedules. Day-to-day, you ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Rolling Stock engineering, and Product/Systems development teams), provide design specifications and validation monitoring solutions, and ensure seamless integration of systems and interfaces.

You ll specifically take care of system architecture development and requirements allocation, but also ensure quality processes are followed and risks are managed effectively.

We ll look to you for:

• Providing design specifications and monitoring validation solutions until customer acceptance while minimizing deployment costs, lead times, and risks.

• Ensuring external interfaces are consistent with the system design.

• Supervising and participating in system deliveries, including requirements management, architecture definition, and system performance.

• Organizing and leading design reviews.

• Defining and supporting functional validation phases (PC, Bench, TrainLab, Train).

• Maintaining full transparency of Project Engineering Work Package (WP) QCD performance.

• Collaborating with suppliers to ensure alignment with Alstom standards and project requirements.

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in on-board electronic system design, even in domains outside of railways.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) or team management.

• Experience in network and telecom solutions, as well as cybersecurity standards (desirable).

• Knowledge of supplier management and quality processes.

• Familiarity with system integration and validation processes.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
