Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EU Payroll Specialist with expertise in managing end-to-end payroll processing across various European countries. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of EU payroll taxation , GDPR compliance , and must be fluent in French . This role involves working closely with finance, HR, and compliance teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations for our European workforce. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage monthly payroll for employees across multiple EU countries in compliance with local legislation. Ensure accurate payroll calculations including tax deductions, social security contributions, bonuses, and statutory payments. Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Stay up-to-date with local tax regulations, labor laws, and social insurance schemes in EU countries, especially France. Ensure full compliance with GDPR guidelines in handling sensitive employee data. Act as a liaison between HR, finance, and third-party payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies or employee queries. Generate payroll reports and support audits and compliance checks as needed. Manage year-end tax filings, payslips, and other statutory documentation. Translate or communicate with French-speaking stakeholders when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. 4–8 years of hands-on experience in EU payroll processing . Strong understanding of EU payroll taxation rules and statutory compliance. Solid knowledge of GDPR principles as they apply to payroll. Fluency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel. Experience with multi-country payroll and international payroll platforms is a plus. High attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in working with French payrolls or a French entity. Familiarity with European labor regulations and cross-border employment practices.
