Echo technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ECHO Technician to join our healthcare team. The ECHO Technician will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, preparing accurate reports, and supporting cardiologists in diagnosing heart conditions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Technology / Echocardiography / related field.
• Good knowledge of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy.
• Ability to handle ultrasound machines and related diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient handling skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible to work in shifts as per hospital requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms (2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Doppler) as per doctor’s instructions.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and ECHO equipment safely and efficiently.
• Position patients correctly and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and accurate test reports.
• Assist cardiologists in interpreting test results when required.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated, and in proper working condition.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth workflow.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
