Job Description

Role & responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

a. Define and execute growth strategy for Amazon, Flipkart, Pepperfry, Myntra, etc., and its own D2C website.

b. Drive revenue, conversions, and customer acquisition through marketplace optimization and D2C initiatives.

c. Identify new marketplace opportunities and negotiate terms with platforms.

2. Product Listings & Catalogue Management

a. Oversee creation and optimization of product listings, titles, bullet points, images, and A+ content.

b. Ensure catalogues reflect accurate specs, certifications, and lifestyle imagery aligned with brand guidelines.

c. Manage content consistency across all e-commerce channels.

d. Regularly update pricing, offers, and bundles in sync with marketing campaigns.

3. Performance Marketing & Analytics

a. Manage AMS (Amazon Marketing Services), Flipkart Ads, and Google/Facebook campaigns for D2C.

b. Optimize ad spends, CTR, and ROI through keyword strategy, sponsored ads, and retargeting.

c. Analyse performance metrics (traffic, conversions, cart abandonment, ratings & reviews).

d. Develop dashboards and reports for leadership on sales trends and category performance.

4. Brand & Customer Experience

a. Maintain consistent brand storytelling across e-commerce touchpoints (banners, storefronts, reviews).

b. Ensure customer-first experience with fast response to queries, issue resolution, and return management.

c. Partner with the supply chain for on-time deliveries, inventory planning, and stock visibility.

5. Ratings, Reviews & Reputation Management

a. Implement strategies to increase positive ratings & reviews across marketplaces.

b. Track competitor reviews and identify product gaps or opportunities for improvement.

c. Coordinate with product/marketing teams to address recurring customer concerns.

6. Collaboration & GTM Campaigns

a. Partner with Product Marketing and Brand Marketing to integrate festive campaigns on marketplaces.

b. Coordinate with design teams for creative assets, product videos, and lifestyle images tailored for e-commerce.

c. Execute flash sales, promotions, and seasonal campaigns in alignment with offline retail.

7. Compliance & Operations

a. Ensure all listings adhere to marketplace compliance, legal standards, and certifications.

b. Monitor inventory, returns, and supply chain efficiency for e-commerce orders.

c. Manage P&L responsibility for the handling platforms.
