About the Role

We are hiring an E-Commerce Functional Testing Associate with proven experience in testing e-commerce or online retail platforms.
This is not a generic QA role — the ideal candidate must have hands-on experience testing shopping carts, checkout flows, payment gateways, and order management systems (OMS).

You will work closely with our product and tech teams to validate end-to-end user journeys and integrations that power a seamless digital commerce experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and regression testing across e-commerce modules: Product Listing, Cart, Checkout, Payments, Order Tracking, and Returns.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide detailed test reports to stakeholders.
• Validate integrations with ERP, CRM, Payment Gateway, and Logistics systems.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and RTMs ensuring full coverage.
• Log defects in Jira (or similar tools) and track them to closure.
• Work in Agile / Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide QA sign-offs and ensure high-quality releases on every sprint.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory: Minimum 1+ year experience testing E-Commerce / Retail / Online Transactional Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cart & Checkout flow testing
• Payment Gateway testing (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, etc.)
• Order lifecycle & tracking
• Integration validation (ERP, CRM, Logistics)
• Hands-on in functional, regression, and UAT testing.
• Working knowledge of Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce, or any custom e-commerce system.
• Experience using Jira / TestRail / Zephyr for test management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to API Testing (Postman) or Automation Tools (Selenium, Cypress).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of analytics and customer experience validation.
