ECommerce Operations & Fulfillment Executive Location: Gurugram, India Employment Type: Full-time Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹19,500 per month About Birdy Home & Design: Birdy Home and Design is a premium home décor brand specializing in ceramics, wall art, rugs, and gifting. We’re growing fast and need a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Operations & Fulfillment Executive to manage daily operations, logistics, and studio/warehouse setup. Role Overview: This role is ideal for someone who is curious by nature, keen on staying updated with latest work tools in the industry, enjoys multitasking and thrives in a dynamic startup environment. You’ll oversee order fulfillment, warehouse organization, vendor coordination, and basic administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Manage inventory, packing, and shipping of orders with attention to detail. Coordinate with delivery partners (Amazon, Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.) for timely dispatch. Track shipments, handle return processing, and ensure smooth logistics. Studio, Warehouse & Inventory Management: Set up and maintain an organized studio/warehouse for efficient operations. Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records. Source and manage packaging materials to ensure cost efficiency and aesthetics. Basic Accounting & Vendor Management: Maintain records of expenses, vendor payments, and invoices. Assist with reconciliation of online payments from Shopify, Amazon, etc. Work with suppliers to ensure timely restocking and negotiate better rates. Administrative & Founder Support: Manage the founder’s schedule, set up meetings, and coordinate with clients. Assist in hiring and coordinating with freelancers (e.g., photographers, designers). Handle office/studio purchases and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Client & Event Coordination: Greet and assist B2C and B2B clients visiting the studio. Help organize pop-up events, exhibitions, and collaborations. Support customer service by addressing queries related to orders and logistics. Who You Are: Highly Organized: You love creating systems and keeping things running efficiently. Detail-Oriented: You ensure every package is packed perfectly and orders are fulfilled correctly. Proactive & Resourceful: You solve problems quickly and don’t wait for instructions. Good with Numbers: You can handle basic accounting, expense tracking, and vendor payments. People Person: You enjoy coordinating with clients, vendors, and delivery partners. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 2+ years in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or admin roles (startup experience is a plus). Tech Skills: Familiarity with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon). Location: Must be based in Gurugram or willing to travel daily. Education: High School (12th standard) pass is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is a plus (not mandatory).
