The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel marketing, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving sales through partner networks.Key Responsibilities**Position Overview**A B2B distribution company is seeking a **VoIP Technical Pre-Sales Sales Manager** to lead and manage the pre-sales process, combining technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, designing tailored VoIP solutions, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of VoIP technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business clients.**Key Responsibilities**Pre-Sales Support- Engage with prospective clients to understand their technical and business requirements.- Design and present tailored VoIP solutions that meet customer needs.- Deliver high-quality technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical documentation and proposals.- Collaborate with internal teams (product, sales, and engineering) to ensure alignment between customer needs and solution capabilities.Sales Management- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.- Support the sales team in closing deals by providing technical expertise during negotiations.- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer feedback.- and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.Team Leadership- Train, mentor, and support sales team members on VoIP technologies and solutions.- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external clients.- Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs for future product development.Technical Expertise- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VoIP technologies, including PBX systems, SIP trunking, Unified Communications (UC), cloud-hosted solutions, and hybrid models.- Create detailed design documentation (e.g., network diagrams) for proposed solutions.- Troubleshoot pre-sales technical challenges to ensure smooth implementation post-sale.**Qualifications**Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the telecom or VoIP industry.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.**Skills**- Strong understanding of VoIP technologies (e.g., SIP, PBX, UCaaS).- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams.- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales pipelines.Preferred Skills- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., MPLS, IPv6).- Experience in SaaS-based VoIP solutions.Key Attributes- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining accountability for results.- Strategic thinker who can align technical solutions with business goals.This role is critical for driving revenue growth by ensuring that customers fully understand the value of the companys VoIP offerings while receiving exceptional pre-sales support.**Qualifications**Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel marketing or partner management, preferably in the IT or electronics industry.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
