Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Develop and build extremely reliable, scalable, and high-performing web applications for our clients. Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities. Work in a rapid and agile development process to enable increased speed to market while maintaining high coding standards. Implement good development and testing practices to ensure quality deliverables, including writing unit tests and performing code reviews. Develop custom Drupal modules and themes following best practices and coding standards. Optimize website performance by implementing caching mechanisms, lazy loading, and database query optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Drupal-related issues, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. Integrate third-party services and APIs into Drupal-based applications. Maintain and upgrade existing Drupal applications to ensure security and stability. Work with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Stay updated with the latest trends in Drupal, PHP, JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.), and cloud technologies. Preferred candidate profile: B.Tech/MCA with at least 3 years of proven experience in building customer-facing scalable web applications Drupal 8/9/10 Development Custom module development, controllers, events, hooks, and plugin APIs PHP & Symfony Understanding Drupal's underlying framework Database Management – MySQL / MariaDB knowledge for schema design & query optimization RESTful API Development – Creating and consuming APIs within Drupal Composer & Drush – Managing dependencies and command-line tools for Drupal Content Types & Fields – Managing structured content in Drupal Views, Blocks & Paragraphs – Customizing layout and data presentation Taxonomy & Menus – Organizing site structure efficiently Entity API & Config Management – Handling Drupal entities and configuration exports Theming & Twig Templates – Customizing and extending Drupal themes. HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery – Strong knowledge for frontend development. React.js / Next.js / Angular (Optional but Preferred) – Modern frontend frameworks for decoupled Drupal. Responsive Web Design – Ensuring mobile-first and cross-browser compatibility. Git / Bitbucket / GitLab – Strong experience with version control. Docker / Lando / DDEV – Local development environments for Drupal. CI/CD Pipelines (Optional) – Experience with automated deployment processes. Cloud Platforms (Optional) – AWS, Acquia, or Pantheon hosting environments . Caching Strategies – Using Drupal caching layers effectively. Security Best Practices – Implementing secure coding standards in Drupal. Performance Tuning – Optimizing database queries, CSS/JS aggregation .
