Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and certified Drone Pilot with hands-on experience in LiDAR-based and infrastructure drone operations. The ideal candidate must be technically sound, field-ready, and confident in interacting with clients, engineers, and project teams during on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute LiDAR, inspection, and mapping missions using RTK-enabled UAVs (e.g., DJI M400 + L2).
• Operate drones for infrastructure projects such as highway, railway, powerline, and land surveys.
• Ensure strict compliance with DGCA regulations and maintain flight logs and maintenance records.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage on-site logistics.
• Coordinate with field teams, local officials, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage GCPs, LiDAR data collection, and accuracy verification.
• On non-field days, assist from the Chennai office with mission planning, data management, and equipment upkeep.
• Be ready for frequent travel and extended stays at project locations when required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) – Small or Medium category.
• Minimum 2 years of professional drone flying experience.
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR drones (DJI L1/L2 or similar payloads).
• Familiarity with RTK, GPS, and photogrammetry workflows.
• Working knowledge of DJI Pilot 2, DJI Terra, Pix4D, or similar software.
• Ability to work in dynamic field conditions with strong situational awareness.

• Comfortable interacting with site engineers, authorities, and clients on the field.
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset and positive attitude under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to terrain mapping, volumetric analysis, or infrastructure surveys.
• Understanding of data formats (LAS/LAZ, DEM/DTM, orthomosaic).
• Technical or engineering diploma preferred.
