This position is ideal for recent ITI or Diploma graduates who are looking to build a career in technical drafting, particularly in the mechanical or marine sectors. Our structured training program provides hands-on experience in 2D drafting and 3D modeling , working with industry-standard software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor , and introduces you to real-world design workflows. Learning Objectives: Develop proficiency in 2D Drafting and 3D Modelling Interpret ship designs, structural design and technical specifications Understand professional drafting standards and documentation practices Gain fundamental knowledge of mechanical and marine systems Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing basic layout and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools Support senior d raughtsman with drawing modifications and updates Learn to maintain organized drawing files and proper document management Maintain drawing logs and revision records in compliance with company procedures Observe and understand interdepartmental workflows between design, production, and quality Candidate Profile: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, Civil or Drafting disciplines ( Only candidates with the listed educational backgrounds will be considered for selection ) Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software (knowledge of 3D tools such as SolidWorks or Inventor is a plus) Strong willingness to learn and follow technical guidance Good verbal and written communication skills Team player with a keen eye for accuracy and detail Passionate about engineering design and drafting Training Duration: 3 months Candidates who successfully complete the training period may be considered for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
