Job Description: Draftsman Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will create technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or designers. You will be vital in translating conceptual designs into detailed drawings that guide the construction or manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). - Interpret design specifications and calculations provided by architects or engineers. - Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Maintain organized documentation of drawings and project files. - Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings. - Assist in preparing the bill of materials and specifications as required. - Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements: - Diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD is a must; others like Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp are a plus). - Strong understanding of drafting techniques and construction or manufacturing processes. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
