Key Responsibilities Candidate will be involved and managing in initial set up of plant from PRE - Industry set up to POST - Production. Candidate will be closely working with the design team , construction team for the setup of the plant and includes the following operation KRA Production & Planning : Develop and Own MPS/MRP, capacity planning, daily/weekly production plans; balance line loading for cutting, drilling, welding, shotblasting, painting, roll forming, shearing, and secondary operations. People Leadership : Develop man force (staff + contract); recruit, train, and retain supervisors; drive skill matrices and shift discipline. Quality Assurance : Ensure stagewise QC, WPS/PQR adherence, weld quality (NDT/UT/MPI), paint DFT checks, traceability; lead CAPA and root cause analysis. EHS & Compliance : Enforce ISO 45001/14001/9001 systems; incidentfree shop; statutory compliance under Factories Act; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks. Maintenance (TPM) : Implement preventive and predictive maintenance for CNC cutting, drilling lines, SAW/MIG stations, shotblast, ovens/booths, roll formers, EOT cranes, compressors; minimise breakdowns and MTTR. Cost & Productivity : Deliver budgeted conversion cost; control scrap/yield, power consumption, gas/wire/consumables; drive Lean/ improvement. Supply Chain & Inventory : Coordinate procurement of IS 2062/ASTM plates/sections, fasteners, paints; manage stores, inventory turns, and cycle counts; vendor development. Dispatch & Logistics : Ensure packing, bundling, identification, and documentation for OTIF dispatches; coordinate with erection/project teams for site priorities.
