Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using

Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and

Event Grid.

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven

integrations for insurance applications (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, CRM,

Reinsurance, etc.).

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze insurance system

workflows and identify integration opportunities.

• Ensure API security, governance, scalability, and monitoring using Azure API

Management best practices.

• Build and optimize .NET-based services and middleware for system

interoperability.

• Work closely with architects to establish integration standards, design

patterns, and reusable frameworks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues with a focus on

reliability, performance, and compliance.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing a center of excellence

for integration.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on system

integration and APIs.

• Strong hands-on expertise in:

Azure API Management (APIM) Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus

.NET Core / .NET 6+ (C#)

REST, SOAP, JSON, XML standards

• Proven track record in integrating with insurance platforms (policy admin,

claims, billing, CRM, third-party data providers).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps for integration delivery.

• Strong understanding of insurance data security, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR,

• SOC2), and IAM frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management

skills.
