Position Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the sales department, managing sales staff, setting and achieving sales targets, and developing long-term business relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing. 2. Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and revenue targets. Identify potential growth opportunities and new customer segments. 3.Sales Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure efficient operations and alignment with company objectives. Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline development. Track and report sales performance and results, identifying areas for improvement. 4.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Resolve customer concerns or issues promptly to ensure continued business success. 5.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales goals and overall business objectives. Regularly communicate sales results, strategies, and updates to senior leadership. 6.Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Analyze sales data and adjust strategies to improve results and address any competitive challenges. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in sales management or a similar role. Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Results-driven with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Online portals ( India mart, Alibaba , Global Sources, Dollar Business etc) Listing products and optimising products)
