Scope of Work

The selected translator/firm will:

• Translate six (6) research data collection tools ( Microsoft Word format ) from English into Kannada.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of all translations.
• Maintain consistency in terminology across all tools.
• Deliver translations in an editable format (e.g., Microsoft Word).
• Participate in one review cycle for revisions/feedback from the project team.

Deliverables

• Six (6) translated data collection tools delivered in Kannada.
• Final approved versions reflecting project team feedback.

The word counts are as follows :

1. Document #1: 4562 words (24,851 characters excluding spaces)
2. Document #2: 3000 words (15,159 characters excluding spaces)
3. Document #3 : 4319 words (26722 characters excluding spaces)
4. Document #4 : 888 words (5420 characters excluding spaces)
5. Document #8: 1372 words (9,622 characters excluding spaces)
6. Document #9: 2518 (15,580 characters excluding spaces)

Timeline

• Final translations due: Within 7 days of contract signing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional translation (experience in health, social science, or research projects preferred).
• Ability to provide culturally appropriate and accurate translations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
