Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Doctoral Student at Agharkar Research Institute, Pune. The Doctoral Student will be responsible for conducting research in biological sciences, in particular deciphering the role and regulation of autophagy in stem cells, collecting and analysing data, developing research methodologies, and preparing reports or scientific publications. The role also involves collaboration with peers and advisors, presenting findings at seminars or conferences, and contributing to ongoing projects at the institute.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in biological sciences, including research and analytical skills
• Experience with data collection, data analysis, and research methodologies
• Proficiency in scientific writing and preparing reports or publications
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Ability to work independently while balancing multiple research tasks
• Master’s degree in a related field such as biology, biotechnology, or life sciences
• Prior research experience in a laboratory setting is an advantage
