Job Description

Role Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and interpreting in vivo and in vitro DMPK studies to support drug discovery and development programs. The role involves modelling, simulation, bioanalysis review, and contributing to IND-enabling studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, conduct, and interpret
in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK)
studies.
Serve as
SME for QC
in ADME/PK and bioanalysis; review ADME/PK study reports.
Perform
PK-PD and PBPK modelling
using tools such as GastroPlus, SimCYP, PK-Sim, and R.
Conduct studies on
transporters and hepatocytes
, including uptake and inhibition assays.
Evaluate
physicochemical properties
: solubility, LogD, PPB, GSH, etc.
Assess
metabolism
using microsomes, hepatocytes, and CYP inhibition assays.
Support
cell-based assays
including permeability studies (MDCK, Caco-2).
Participate in
IND-enabling ADME/PK studies
and bioanalytical assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present scientific data.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of DMPK principles.
Proficiency in modelling tools (GastroPlus, SimCYP, PK-Sim, R).
Exceptional analytical and interpretation skills.
Good documentation and communication skills.

Skills:

In Vivo PK: design, conduct, and interpret in vivo pharmacokinetics
SME QC in ADME/PK and Bioanalysis: Review ADME/PK study reports
Modelling and simulation: PK-PD, PBPK, Gastroplus, Simcyp, PK-SIM and R
