Django Developer

As an experienced Django Developer joining our team, you will be working on our established platform. Your role involves understanding, improving, and enhancing the current software system. Your passion for building robust, scalable web applications will be key in maintaining, improving, and extending features in our Django-based platform. Collaboration with senior developers and product managers will be essential for designing new features. You will also participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand our current software system before implementing enhancements - Maintain, improve, and extend features in our Django-based platform - Debug, optimize, and resolve issues within existing systems - Work closely with senior developers and product managers on new feature design - Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards **Qualifications Required:** **Must Have:** - 3+ years professional experience with Django, Django REST Framework, and Python - Strong database skills, with PostgreSQL preferred and query optimization experience - Proficiency in frontend basics such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (frontend frameworks are a bonus) - Experience with version control using Git workflows, pull requests, branching, and code reviews - Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and analytical thinking - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team - Willingness to learn and understand large existing codebases **Nice to Have:** - Experience with AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, and S3 - Knowledge of microservices, Celery, Cron jobs, and background job processing - Skills in performance optimization and scaling techniques This opportunity is perfect for a mid-level developer who is passionate about working with existing systems and contributing to the development of a robust web application.,
