Job Title: Django Backend Developer

Location: Maharashtra (Pune)

Preferred Experience: 2-3 Years

Skills

Core: Strong proficiency in Python programming.

Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Django / Django REST Framework (DRF).

Databases: Good knowledge of PostgresQL (schema design, indexing, opti-mization, queries).

API Development: Experience in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIS.

ORM: Understanding of Django ORM and query optimization.

Authentication: Knowledge of JWT/OAuth2 or session-based authentication.

Version Control: Proficient with Git / GitHub / GitLab workflows.

Deployment: Basic experience with Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.

Other Good-to-Have: Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or async tasks handling.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Django-based backend applications.

- Design, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas.

- Build and maintain REST APIs for frontend/mobile app consumption.

- Integrate APIs with third-party services where needed.

- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practic-es.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environ-ments.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other team members.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

- Stay updated with the latest backend and database technologies.
