Foundry Setup & Commissioning
Lead the setup, commissioning, and stabilization of the aerospace stainless steel investment casting foundry. Define layout, process flow, equipment requirements, and quality infrastructure aligned with aerospace standards.
Oversee end-to-end investment casting processes: core making, wax room, shell room, melting, pouring, post-processing, and inspection. Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices for stainless steel (17-4 PH) castings.
Manage metallurgical integrity and casting quality through rigorous process monitoring and data-driven improvement. Analyze trial results, interpret metallurgical data, and implement improvements to achieve desired mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy.
Ensure adherence to AS9100 and NADCAP standards. Drive system audits, close NCRs with effective countermeasures, and ensure zero customer complaints.
Achieve production targets and deliver cost reductions as per annual plans. Monitor delivery performance, yield, rejection rates, and continuously drive process optimization.
Lead and mentor technical and operational teams, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence. Champion kaizen, lean manufacturing, and employee suggestion programs to enhance productivity and quality.
