About the Role: Educational Initiatives (Ei) is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced professionals to join as District Coordinators (DC) for an assessment project in government schools across Jharkhand . The selected candidates will be responsible for planning, hiring, training, and managing field operations to ensure high-quality data collection . This is a short-term engagement (1-1.5 months from March 2025) , requiring daily travel within districts , effective stakeholder coordination , and team supervision . Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Execution: Lead end-to-end execution of the assessment project in the assigned zone/district(s) while ensuring high-quality outcomes within set timelines. Plan and manage all operational and logistical aspects of the assessment, including school visits, team deployment, and data collection. Team Hiring, Training & Management: Recruit, train, and manage a field team (enumerators and supervisors) as per Ei’s process. Conduct district-level training with a Net Satisfaction Score (NSP) of 90 or above. Monitor the performance of the field team and ensure adherence to assessment protocols . Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Maintain strong communication with education department officials (DEO, BEO, HMs) and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations. Serve as the point of contact for any operational queries, challenges, or escalations. Data Collection & Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate and timely data collection from all sampled schools. Conduct quality checks to maintain consistency, reliability, and accuracy of the data. Identify and address discrepancies or challenges during the assessment and post-assessment review . Logistics & Reporting: Oversee all logistical arrangements , including venue booking, transportation, and material distribution. Ensure the timely dispatch and collection of assessment materials . Submit daily/weekly progress updates and maintain effective communication with Ei. Eligibility Criteria:Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Social Work (e.g., B.Ed., M.Ed., BSW, MSW ), or related fields. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in field project management , preferably in educational assessment projects . Hands-on experience in hiring, training, team management , and stakeholder coordination. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets/Forms, data tracking, and reporting . Desired Skills & Requirements: Own vehicle for travel within the district (mandatory). Laptop for operational and reporting tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi, English, and local language . Knowledge of district geography, area mapping, and education department operations . Ability to handle logistics, stakeholder coordination, and troubleshooting on the ground. Compensation & Benefits: District Coordinator: ₹20,000/month + Conveyance Experience Certificate from Ei upon successful project completion.
