HOCCO is Hiring Dispatch Manager for our ICE Cream Plant Job Location- Bavla -Plant Ahmedabad Gujarat The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire dispatch operations for the ice cream manufacturing unit. The role involves managing the dispatch team, coordinating with various departments, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining product quality during transit. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day dispatch operations ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products Managed daily operation of releasing the indent along with the allocation plans for supply of finished goods from factory to CNF & Distributors and ensuring delivery of material as per schedule Planning coordinating and monitoring the order/contract assembly and dispatch of personnel to various locations to performed assigned work Managing and controlling the logistics at plant based in Ahmadabad, for Ice cream distribution to different locations has C&Fs and distributors. Ensuring service and Entrusting with the responsibility of inventory management of cold storage Ensuring service and Entrusting with the responsibility of inventory management of cold storage Economical route planning for optimum use of companys fleet as well as other hired vehicles Dealing with the transporters for making the contract Looking after RTO work of the Company own vehicles Oversee inventory management and ensure proper stock levels. Coordinate with the production, sales, and logistics teams to schedule dispatches. Develop and implement strategies to optimize dispatch efficiency. Ensure proper documentation of all dispatch-related activities. Monitor vehicle tracking systems and ensure adherence to route plans. Manage third-party transporters and negotiate contracts as necessary. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Analyze dispatch performance and generate reports for management. Train and supervise dispatch staff, ensuring a productive work environment. Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 9 to 10 years of experience in dispatch management, preferably in the FMCG or ice cream industry. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems. Experience in managing large teams and third-party logistics providers.
