Job Description

As the Sales Manager at our company, your role involves leading and managing all day-to-day activities related to the sales function. Your focus should be on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve property sales objectives. In addition to achieving your personal booking goals, you will also be responsible for making recommendations on the booking goals of your direct reports. Your key responsibilities include: - Working with the sales leader to ensure an understanding of the sales strategy and its effective implementation for the segment. - Collaborating with the management team to create and implement a sales plan that addresses revenue, customers, and the market for the segment. - Assisting in the development and implementation of internal and external promotions. - Providing positive and aggressive leadership to maximize revenue potential and recommending booking goals for sales team members. - Monitoring all day-to-day activities of your direct reports and participating in sales calls to acquire new business or close deals. - Analyzing market information and implementing strategies to achieve the property's financial room and catering goals. - Ensuring exceptional customer service by displaying leadership in guest hospitality, obtaining feedback on product quality and service levels, and incorporating guest satisfaction as a component of department meetings. - Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure complementary sales efforts. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major from an accredited university, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same majors with 1 year of relevant experience is also acceptable.
