Job Description

What does a great Director- Software Development do? In this role as a Director Software Development, you will be responsible for delivery of modernization program for the legacy platform, cloud migration, people management and implement automation & AI for bringing in efficiency in Issuer Solutions. What you will do: Lead the delivery of program to modernize the legacy platform Manage Product enhancements and releases Drive improvements across projects through automation, GenAI and new technology adoptions Focus on innovation to drive efficiency and improved client experience Manage multiple stakeholders in different geographies and communicate effectively on status and risks with leadership Lead diverse team of developers, SMEs, project managers, business analysts, testers to achieve business goals What you will need to have: 18+ years of experience in technology working at large organizations, preferably with Issuer Solutions in Financial Services Strong background and understanding of full SDLC using Java technology stack including but not limited to Java, AngularJS, APIs, Microservices, Databases etc. Experience in modernizing tech platforms Experience with implementation of Agile methodology and DevOps practices Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence 10+ years of experience in managing diverse teams Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against a set of strategic initiatives Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives Ability to think strategically, solve problems and make complex decisions Successful track record collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and action Prior experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Clarity What would be great to have: Experience with VisionPlus platform or its surrounding applications Data Migration experience Experience in GenAI, Automation
