Digital Transformation & Product Owner

• Lead end-to-end digital transformation initiatives focused on automobile manufacturing and production planning.

• Act as Product Owner for multiple digital applications, managing product backlogs, defining roadmaps, and driving sprint planning and reviews.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and IT to conceptualize and implement digital tools and solutions.

• Apply Product Owner (PO) and Business Analysis (BA) skills to gather requirements, create use cases, define MVPs, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

• Mentor internal teams on digital manufacturing trends, Industry 4.0 concepts, and agile delivery best practices.

• Ensure high product quality through effective UAT coordination, continuous feedback loops, and iterative development.

• Drive development and deployment of Digital Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for manufacturing and process optimization.

• 7+ years of experience in the automotive industry with strong expertise in digital transformation, product ownership, and business analysis.

• Deep understanding of automobile manufacturing, Industry 4.0, assembly process planning, and manufacturing engineering.

• Proven experience delivering digitalization projects with measurable business outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, and cross-functional alignment.

• Hands-on experience with Kanbo, JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/agile tools.

• Strong communication, requirement-gathering, and decision-making skills.

• Exposure to global automotive operations (Germany, USA, China).

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

• Additional certifications (preferred): PSM-1, CSPO, PAL-1, or other agile frameworks.

• Experience in designing and deploying digital PoCs in manufacturing environments.

• Intermediate German language proficiency.

• Exposure to global automotive programs and international stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz/Daimler manufacturing or engineering systems.
