ABOUT JOB Designation: Digital Media Designer Role Purpose : To design and produce visually engaging digital content to promote our educational programs, events, and brand identity across various online and offline platforms. Knowledge Design and develop high-quality digital media content, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, brochures, posters, presentations, and promotional videos . Create engaging motion graphics, animations, and short videos for social media (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook) and institutional campaigns. Edit and enhance video content (lectures, events, testimonials) with subtitles, transitions, and branding elements. Ensure all designs align with the institutes branding guidelines and maintain visual consistency. Collaborate with the content and social media teams to develop visually appealing infographics, carousels, and interactive content. Optimize digital assets for web, mobile, and print while ensuring fast load times and high resolution. Assist in managing the institutes website visuals, LMS (Learning Management System) graphics, and e-learning materials . Stay updated with the latest design trends, digital marketing strategies, and educational industry standards . Support event branding (webinars, workshops, open houses) with digital backdrops, presentations, and promotional materials. Work with external vendors (printers, videographers) when required. Functional Skills Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign). Experience with Canva, Figma, or other design tools. Basic knowledge of video editing, animation, and motion graphics. Familiarity with UI/UX principles (for website/LMS design) is an advantage. Understanding of social media formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn carousels). Soft Skills: Strong creativity and storytelling abilities. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills to collaborate with faculty and marketing teams. Attributes Strong analytical and research skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Qualification & Years of Experience as per norms: A postgraduate degree Certification in Digital Marketing, Experience in edtech, e-learning, or academic branding . Knowledge of 3D design, AR/VR, or interactive media (for innovative learning materials). Basic HTML/CSS or WordPress skills (for website updates).
