Your Role The Specialty Rental Division is committed to ensuring the highest level of safety, reliability, and efficiency for our rental fleet, including industrial boilers used in critical applications. To strengthen this initiative, we are looking for a diagnostics engineer to enhance our remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for Boiler. You will join an existing team of Rental Uptime experts at the Global Diagnostic Center, where you will align your technical expertise with Industry 4.0 and data-driven services. As a diagnostics engineer for Boiler, your mission is to ensure optimal boiler performance and uptime by leveraging remote diagnostics and IoT-based monitoring. You will analyze machine behavior, detect potential failures, and provide technical insights to support service teams worldwide. Your Role Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics: Analyse boiler performance and operational data to identify anomalies, predict failures, and optimize efficiency. Additionally remote monitoring of Engine driven Compressor and Power Generators also to be carried out. Technical Support: Provide remote troubleshooting assistance to technicians at customer sites, reducing downtime and improving reliability. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize IoT data, trend analysis, and performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations. Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with technical and engineering teams to improve boiler control algorithms, enhance remote diagnostic capabilities, and refine operational processes. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on system performance, suggest process enhancements, and contribute to preventive maintenance strategies. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with boiler safety standards and operational guidelines in remote diagnostics and support activities. Next to the daily diagnostic tasks, you will be in close contact with the technical and engineering teams at Rental Division. As such, you are not only a user of the system, but we also expect your valuable input on further operation - process improvements. To succeed, you will need Experience requirements Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Thermal Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of field experience in boiler troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance. Experience in Diesel engines & Alternators servicing will be added advantage. Knowledge Strong expertise in boiler operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis Experience with boiler water treatment principles and their impact on performance Ability to interpret boiler control schematics, P&ID diagrams, and trend graphs for troubleshooting Knowledge of combustion systems, fuel-air ratio control, and burner tuning Comfort with data analysis tools and ability to correlate information from multiple sources Proficiency in English (written & spoken) for effective global collaboration Personality requirements Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
