Role Description This is a hybrid Information Technology Web Developer role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area , offering flexibility for work-from-home arrangements . The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining front-end and back-end web applications , ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative digital solutions that support business goals and enhance user experience. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing system performance, and staying current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development. This opportunity is open for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Input-Based engagement depending on project scope and candidate availability. Qualifications / Required Skills Proficiency in Back-End and Web Development, with hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable web applications. Strong understanding of Information Technology and Software Development principles, frameworks, and best practices. Experience in Front-End Development, including UI/UX implementation and integration with backend systems. Knowledge of industry-standard tools and technologies, including version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and web deployment practices. Familiarity with web hosting platforms, particularly Hostinger Horizon and shared web hosting environments. Experience working with cloud databases, such as Supabase, for data storage, authentication, and real-time applications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in hybrid or cross-functional team environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. Industry experience in engineering or construction and knowledge of digital transformation initiatives are considered an advantage.
