Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-site / Hybrid) Experience: 5–10 years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Automobile Designer with a strong background in Automobile / Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Design. The candidate will lead the design and development of specialised vehicles, including off-road UTVs, defence and rescue vehicles, safari and fire tenders, and other custom mobility solutions. The ideal designer combines aesthetic creativity with engineering understanding, ensuring every product is both beautiful and functional. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process - from concept ideation, sketching, and digital modeling to production-ready designs. Collaborate with engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing teams to align design with functionality and manufacturability. Develop 3D CAD models, renderings, and physical mockups. Contribute to design language and identity across product lines. Stay updated on global automotive trends, materials, ergonomics, and sustainability. Guide and mentor junior designers to ensure design consistency and innovation. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s in Automobile Engineering / Transportation Design / Industrial Design. 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle or mobility design. Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Rhino, Alias, KeyShot, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of vehicle architecture, aerodynamics, ergonomics, and materials. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience designing off-road, defence, or specialised vehicles. Familiarity with EV platforms and lightweight chassis design.
