Warm Greetings!

We are looking for a DGM/AGM - Accounts and Taxation role with good experience in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, MIS Reporting, ERP. This Opportunity for a reputed Organization based at Hosur Location.


Working days: 6 days a week

Language: Tamil Mandatory

This Role is open for Candidates who have strong experience in Pharma Industries or Any reputed Manufacturing Industry

Position Overview:

AGM-Accounts will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organizations

accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal control systems. The role

involves ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information while

supporting business decisions and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and

accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Lead the accounting function and ensure timely and accurate closure of monthly,

quarterly, and annual accounts.

Prepare Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements.

Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / Companies

Act).

Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit completion and issue

resolution.

Periodical review of ledger accounts and taking necessary actions

Provide guidance and leadership to Accounts and Finance Team.

2. Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Income Tax, GST, TDS,

DGFT, Customs and other related regulatory obligations.

Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required.

Implement and monitor effective internal controls and financial policies.

Provide timely response to Tax and other notices.

Timely close all Advance licenses, EPCG licenses

Comply with EOU obligations

. Budgeting & MIS

Support preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Provide management with accurate and timely MIS reports on financial performance,

cost control, and cash flow.

Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions.

4. Systems, Processes & Team Management

Strengthen accounting systems, ERP processes, and automation initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts team to enhance capability and performance.

Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and coordination ability across departments.

Proficiency in ERP/accounting software

Qualification & Experience

Chartered Accountant.

10 to 15 years (with at least 5 years in a leadership role)
