DevSecOps Engineer

Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure and security foundation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of DevOps and Security, has hands-on AWS and Kubernetes expertise, and can lead both systems and people with confidence. Strong coding ability to build automation and tools is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) with security baked in.
• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks.
• Lead initiatives around service on the edge, data warehouses, and enterprise SaaS security.
• Drive compliance with ISO27001/27018 and ensure strong audit readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

Required experience:

• 8+ years in DevSecOps/Cloud Security with a strong AWS & Kubernetes background.
• Proven, hands-on coding ability (Python, Go, or Shell) — beyond IaC — to build automation, integrate security checks, and improve reliability.
• Strong grasp of IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
• Experience tuning performance for both applications and databases.
• Proven track record of embedding security across the SDLC.
• Leadership qualities: guiding projects, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices.

Good to have:

• AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
• Exposure to MySQL, MongoDB, serverless, or microservices.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
