DevRel/ Content Creator - Job Description Job Title: DevRel / Content Creator Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time (6 days)(8 hours/day)/Part-time Salary : Negotiable Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and driven DevRel professional to be the face of our global technology content channel. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging technical insights in the local language of your target country (including India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Philippines, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey etc.) and fostering a thriving developer community. You will thrive in a self-live studio environment, creating exciting and easily digestible content about the latest AI tech trends and insights. This role demands a strong focus on localization, adapting content to resonate with the unique culture and language of each target country while maintaining consistency with our global brand. Key Responsibilities Content Creation and Delivery: Produce high-quality content in various formats, including videos, live streams, and blog posts, that explain complex technical and development topics in a simple and engaging manner. Manage all aspects of content production within a self-live studio environment, including filming, editing, and ensuring quality. Developer Community Building and Management: Actively engage with the local developer community through online and offline events such as meetups and Q&A sessions. Manage and grow online communities on platforms like Discord and Facebook groups. Brand Localization and Global Consistency: Adhere to brand guidelines provided by headquarters while localizing content to align with the specific culture and language of each target country. Participate in regular meetings with the global team to share technical feedback and discuss content improvement strategies. Social Media and Networking: Utilize community platforms to network with talents and community members. Collaborate with local YouTubers and developer influencers to expand brand awareness. Requirements Technical and Content Creation Skills: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a developer or in a related field. Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, with strong storytelling skills. (Experience with video shooting, editing, and live streaming is a plus). Communication Skills: Fluent in both the local language and English, with the ability to convey technical information effectively in both languages. Experience communicating through various channels, including video, blogs, and social media. Self-Motivation and Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage the entire content creation process, from planning and filming to editing and publishing, in a one-person live studio setting. Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and trends. Community Management and Event Planning Experience: Experience in planning and organizing online and offline events to foster a vibrant local developer community is preferred. Experience in community networking and collaboration to enhance brand value is preferred. Bonus Points: Prior experience in DevRel, as a Developer Advocate, YouTuber, or Content Creator.
